Case 79 Right Cervical

The CXR shows a right accessory rib, which is arising from the seventh cervical vertebra (Fig. 79.2). This condition is present in 1% of the population with 80% of cases being bilateral. Rarely, this condition may be symptomatic due to pressure on the lower trunk of the brachial plexus.
