Populations of some birds increased in Eastern Wood, England, while others decreased.The wood pigeon (Columba palumbus) and garden warbler (Sylvia borin) population shifts were strongly influenced by different events that took place far from Eastern Wood. Only the blue tit (Paruscaeruleus) population was affected most strongly by events within Eastern Wood itself.
