Advantages Of The Procedure

The main advantages of the endoscopic procedure are the absence of the nasal speculum, which creates a fixed tunnel, and the near coaxially control of the micro-instruments.

Without the nasal speculum:

• The endoscopic operation starts from the natural ostium of the sphenoid sinus and avoids the submucosal nasal phase and orodental complications caused by the incision in the bucco-gingival junction (if used), septal perforations, nasal scars, and damage to the nasal spine, making it a minimally traumatic procedure.
