Gel Bead Conjugation

1. CNBr-activated Sepharose 4B beads.

2. Antibody-coupling buffer (0.1 M sodium bicarbonate buffer, pH 8.3).

3. Blocking solution (0.1 M Tris-HCl buffer, pH 8.0, or 0.1 M ethano-lamine).

4. Washing solutions (0.1 M Tris-HCl buffer, pH 8.0, with 0.5 M NaCl and 0.1 M acetate buffer pH 4.0 with 0.5 M NaCl).

5. Storage solution (phosphate-buffered saline [PBS], pH 7.2, with 0.02% sodium azide, each liter contains 8 g of NaCl, 0.2 g of KCl, 1.44 g of Na2HPO4, and 0.24 g of KH2PO4). (Caution: sodium azide is very toxic; read the label prior to use and handle with care.)
